Noah 1

Marleen Noah, 26 | Travor Noah, 10

"Your dad is here Travor!" Marleen yelled into the house. Knowing her son he was probably painting on his easel. For a blind boy he was quite brilliant. 

Travor walks outside with the biggest smile on his face. "Daddy!" He runs up to give him a hug. They quickly start their favorite game, slappy hands.

"Come on, lets put your shoes on so you can go with your father." Travor rolls his eyes. He knew how to put on his own shoes but his mom was so caught up in him being blind. 

"Mom! I know how to do it. You can't baby me forever." Marleen picks her son up and puts him on her toes. "I will baby you forever because you are my baby silly goose." Travor laughs as his mom swings him around wildly. 

Travor and his dad head to the park. He loved this park, it had so much to do. 

Jed notices that the park is full of people today which makes him both happy and nervous. Much like Marleen he worried about his son. So many people meant he could get into accidents and Jed hated to see his child fully recognize his disability. 

But nothing kept him down. He high tails it to the go-round and closes his eyes. "Dad! Look at me!" Jed laughs and watches his son with joy.

Jed didn't have many friends but the one he did have always seemed to be at the park when he showed up.

"HEY! Trav." Travor turns his head towards his friend while his friend runs over.

"Hey Billy, I was hoping you would be here today!" The pair laugh and play until Jed started making food and Billy had to go home. 

While waiting for lunch Travor sits on a bench. He was getting tired so he wasn't paying attention which is why a high pitched voice startled him. 

"Hey is this seat taken?" Travor jumps out of the seat.

"No no it isn't."

"Oh whoa! Your eyes." Travor becomes uncomfortable. Most of the time people didn't say anything about his eyes and if they did they did it in hushed whispers. 

"No need to get weird dude. My name is Katy. I think your eyes are cool!" Travor instantly relaxing. They talked a lot and laughed. Travor found out that Katy lived close by the park and her mom was the mayor. He was excited to make a new friend. She seemed really cool if not a little distant.

Travor and his dad head home at 5. It was a great day at the park. Like every Saturday after the park Marleen and Travor sit down in the sun and Marleen reads a book. It was a new book every Saturday but Trav loved it everytime. 

With the park done, the book read it was time for dinner. 

"How was the park baby boy."

"It was amazing mommy! Billy was there, is he still spending the night next weekend?"

"Yes baby. What else happen?"

"Oh well I meant someone else! Her name is Katy and her mom is the mayor." That caught Marleen attention. Marleen worked as an intern in the town hall and she had always dreamed of meeting Dora Fowler. She was a powerhouse and well respected in the community. 

"Wow! That's amazing."

"Yeah, it was awesome. Since I will be going to school this coming week we will be in the same class!" The conversation  continue through dinner. 

"Good night baby." Marleen turns the light off before going for some me time.

A/N: I had so much fun writing this chapter and I love Travor sooooo much! Him being blind is amazing, his personality is amazing. Like I legit love him. 

In case it isn't obvious. Marleen and Jed are divorced and it was daddy/son day.

Catherine Fox, 22

Catherine signed the lease papers quickly and sloppy. She just wanted to get inside her house and forget.

To watch your parents die one after the other while helping your twin sister move into her apartment wasn't enough she also found her her boyfriend was married with a child. She just couldn't believe her luck. 

Her apartment was great though, most everybody had heard about what happened and was supportive. She was thankful. 

Her life was boring though. After graduating with a 3.8 in paranormal studies she had found her dream job and did nothing but skill and go to work. No love life for her, as she mended her broken heart. No parties or wild nights, hell she barely talked to her sister. 

Catherine decided to change that. Online dating was all the craze right now and she felt like maybe this would help her come out of her shell a bit. 

A/N: This update was super boring because Catherine is super boring lol. She literally did nothing but watch her parents die and go to work. I only have 3 day seasons so it's bound to be short but I didn't think it would be this short. 

She is the last family for round 1 though and then I move on to round two which is exciting! I added a new family into the rotation and I plan to add some more because there just isn't enough sims. I might start with the new family because her story is so sweet. PLUS she has a child and I built a school and need more children in my game then just 2 lol. 

On another note. We will meet Catherine's cheating boyfriend with the new family so this will be fun!

Wyatt Family

Martin Wyatt ; 25

Martin remembers the first day he saw her. She had just moved into the apartment diagonal from him and she was always sad. He took it upon himself to introduce himself and they hit it off, it was almost like they had known each other their whole lives. 

Martin knocks on Laurie's door. He knew she was home because like him she normally worked nights. 

"Open up girl! I've got a surprise for you!" 

Laurie opens the door in her comfy wear. Martin could always count on her to have on her cat leggings when she was relaxing at home. 

"Hot date?"

"Surprise?"

"Touche." They chuckle before heading to the couch for a movie marathon.

"Laurie Lou Young.. Don't ever invite me over to a movie that stupid ever again!" Laurie laughs at her best friend. He was so dramatic. She couldn't possibly figure why the drama king himself was single.

Chatting went on for a few hours before Martin left to get ready for work.

Months went by like that. Just two friends hanging out, enjoying a beer, and laughing. They talked about everything from Work to Politics. The subject didn't matter they just liked each others energies. Neither one can tell you when things changed or who fell for who first for that matter but all they know is they did. 

Martin was the most shocked about it because Laurie wasn't his type at all. A red head? Yuck. Tom boyish? Extra gross. Cat lady? Shoot me. That's how he felt about her at first but now? Now, he couldn't imagine a day when she wasn't apart of his life. 

He would have to imagine it though. His comfy job as a security guard at the Goldcrest Plaza was just snatched away from him. He depended on that check to survive. Hell, the apartment he was renting was way out of his checkbook but with this job he was just barely able to scrape by. 

Martin had no idea what he was going to do. He wasn't college education, barely passed highschool. With a deep sigh Martin walked up the stairs to his apartment. His stress level didn't even have a number. If he couldn't find a job soon he would be out on his ass. 

Notes:

OHMYGOSH Martin was so much fun to write AND him and Laurie falling in love was all their doing. Laurie fell in love first but Martin made the first moves. 

The only thing that bugs me is that they have no chemistry so IDK if I will have them stay together but as of now they are so stinking cute together. I cannot wait until his go around again. I want more Laurie and Martin damn it. LOL

As far as the ROS is concerned it seemed to flow better with Martins round. Him and Laurie watching the Mime Cats movies. Perfect. I couldn't have planned it better myself. Shout out to the games Auto because a lot of the things in this update wouldn't be possible without it. LOL

And we all fall down!

Round 1: July 2010

Fowler Family

Kent Fowler ; 34 | Dora Fowler ; 31 | Katy Fowler ; 10 

As always Kent was stuck making lunch for Katy. He understood how important Dora's work was but he felt like his dreams had been left to the waste side ever since his wife won the race for mayor early this year. 

"Dinner is ready!" Kent yelled out the kitchen. 

Don't get him wrong, he loved being a father but child raising wasn't what he had in mind when he set his sights on being an architect 13 years ago. He knew his wife wanted to be mayor and he wanted to be an architect no where in that plan did they include kids, but when Dora got pregnant they couldn't being themselves to get rid of the baby. 

Katy came shuffling into the dinning room to sit with her father. She was a rather serious child who was very bright. Though she didn't always apply herself and that enraged her parents. 

After lunch the Fowler's had some guest. Part of being the mayor's husband was keeping her donors happy. Kent hated that part the most. He didn't care about the uppity of Goldcrest and damn sure didn't want them in his house. 

While Kent was entertaining Katy made it her business to get into Doctor Archie Walker. 

"I'm sorry to tell you this Doctor Walker but you are wrong. For someone with such an advance degree you aren't the brightest. Issa shame really." Kent couldn't believe what he was hearing, he was just glad his wife wasn't here. She would be having a panic attack.

"Katy! Scat." Kent shoos his daughter from the room. 

"Kids? Amirite!" Phillp Walker chuckles to himself. He understood all to well how embarrassing kids could be sometimes. He thinks to his own son. At 8 years old he was very smart. He picked up on the queues quickly and often said things that were not for the public. 

"Y'know Kent, we should get the kiddos together soon. My son is only a couple years younger then your daughter and it might do them so good!" Kent nods his head in agreement. Katy was so socially awkward and had no friends. He worried for her. 

Grumbling to herself Katy stomps into the foyer to play a few games of chess with herself. She was so lonely. She knew it would never happen but she wished her parents would have another baby. 

Notes:

I honestly didn't know how I was going to write this family. At first I was going to make them super loving and what not but decided against it. Katy seems sad and her personality is more serious so her being a bit of a misfit made sense. 

As far as the parents go. I have them doing the whole loveless marriage thing because there attraction is low and they don't spend a lot of time together. This family should be interesting. 

I was originally going to do the second ROS with this family but it didn't make sense. Like why would a family that doesn't spend time together be together to for a family night? So maybe I will do it for the Wyatt family. I've got some ideas for that family and I can't wait.

Walker Family

Archie Walker; 71 | Kerry Walker; 66 | Maryann Walker; 32 |  Penny Walker; 29 | Phillp Walker; 32 | Billy Walker; 8

Archie and Kerry Walker had built an amazing life for there kids but everything seemed to be crumbling down lately. 

There daughter, Maryann, was a college drop out that did nothing but hang out with the high society of Goldcrest. With no job and nothing going for herself, Archie and Kerry worried for her future.

His son, Phillp was a small time commercial actor trying to break into the business. He had a bad gambling problem though and that hindered his success.

"You should of joined me on the waves today. After some surfing we went diving and found a missile"

"That's awesome dad I wish I could've. I had to practice my lines though. 

"And I had to finish my project. If I finish it now then I won't have to do it later and can enjoy my summer pop pop!"

Archie smiled at his only grandchild. The kid was bright and a ball of energy. He almost didn't want his son and wife to move away. He would miss having his grandson here every day.

"Did you bring it?"

"Of course I did child. Do you have the money?"

"Of course I do!"

The potion exchanged hands before the Gypsy was quickly on her way.

While playing with his son, Billy, Phillp sees his sister with the town gypsy.. He knew she sold potions to all the college kids. He quickly rushed his son inside. He didn't want him exposed to this kind of lifestyle.

Kerry, recently retired, was sick. Very sick. For 5 years now she had been dealing with Cancer with no luck. The cancer seemed to only get worst with each treatment. She knew she didn't have long now. 

"I saw you with the gypsy Mary."

"She was lost and I was giving her directions."

"Funny you should say that. She seems to be lost every month and you are always out there to greet her."

"I spend a lot of time outside Phillp."

"Cut the crap! I know you are doing those potions! I will tell dad!"

At the threat Mary looks up at her brother.

"You wouldn't dare!"

With a small smile Phillp bets his sister something for his silence. She agrees but isn't happy about it. 

With a grumble, Maryann walked up the steps to Goldcrest Plaza. She had to get this bet over with. Two days of a costume.  

With her outfit in hand she heads out to the club for a night out. 

Going out ended up not being so bad. Kent Fowler was there and she was still trying to convince him and his wife to join the high society. They were the mayor family after all and that would boost her to the top if she could convince them to join. 

He didn't seem to care or say anything about her choice of clothing and for that she was grateful. Her night out was uneventful in the way of, she didn't run into anybody she knew. Thank goodness.
